Artwork Requirements The best possible file types that can be used to create the best signage possible are listed below:
EPS (Encapsulated Postscript) and AI (Adobe Illustrator) files - These are the best types of artwork to send in if you have them available. They are scalable and have no pixelation. When sending these file types, please be sure to Create Outlines on all text.
JPEG or TIF files - These files work well, but cannot be manipulated like the EPS or AI file types because they are a single flat layer. When saving these file types, just be sure that your dpi settings are at 300dpi or High Resolution. You can save at 150dpi when the artwork is at full size, or 300dpi at half size.
GIF or PNG files - These files are the last resort for artwork. Often times they do not reproduce vibrant colors and that limitation is bad for color printing.
